Adapted from Duality Wrap & Scarf by Jane Vanselous
A simple concept of overlapping rectangles, combined with Shibui Pebble yarn, produces a sumptuously soft, lightweight wrap or scarf. Go bold with strong colors to make a statement, or choose soft neutrals for understated elegance.
Suitable for an advanced beginner who is able to maintain consistent gauge with knit and purl stitches.
Scarf (Wrap) is made holding 2 yarns together throughout.
Knit from end to end, this design begins using a single strand of color A. Color B is later joined in, and the two colors are worked together, ending the row in a single strand of color B. This is repeated until the desired length, then finished with a complimentary section in color B.
The piece is blocked aggressively to open up the stitches and create a very lightweight, airy fabric.
