Upbeat Cowl is knitted in the rounds with two strands of thick wool mohair yarn in gingham pattern created by combination of the two colors. The finishing is half twisted and uses Kitchener Stitch to bind.
Store sample was made with 2 skeins of Woolfolk Tage - 1 of each color. The pattern calls for 7 repeats of each color square. Sample (made with 2 sk.Tage) was made with 7 repeats of 1 color and 6 of the other. This will depend on your gauge and how you carry the color in project.
PATTERN: Pattern $4 can be found on Ravelry and NOT included in kit.
YARN: Each kit includes 2 skeins of Woolfolk Tage (Worsted weight, 70% Wool/30% Mohair, 142 yds).
NEEDLES: Size US 10.5 24" - needles NOT included in kits.
GAUGE: 12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch
FINISHED MEASUREMENT: Height: 6.75” / 17 cm
Circumference: 28.25” / 72 cm, unstretched.
